Girl Talk

Girl Talk is back with a new album. The mash-up artist with ADD is trying to surf on the internet fade of "pay as much you want". If you have never listened to him before be sure to check is previous albums too, especially "Night Ripper".

You can grab the album on his myspace page.

According to my friends in the economy department 0$ is the only rational choice. Always use economy theory to justify your greed.

Enjoy!

Scarlett Johansson, Hypo & EDH, Portishead, N*E*R*D

Scarlett Johansson, Anywhere I lay my head. To be totally honest, when i first listened to it i thought, ok it's not bad but if the her name wasn't there, no one would probably have ever discovered this album. But after some time i've started to  like it, it is based on the 1985's Tom Waits album Rain Dogs, melodies are good and her deep voice makes sense. Now i found it brilliant. But you should make your own opinion: Myspace
I found her album very coherent so it is hard to recommend any titles.

Hypo & Edh, The correct use of pets some real electronica as you could expect, a bit crazy, some unexpected sounds, and a construction that doesn't fit any norms. A must listen.
I'm a big fan of "naughty place"

Portishead, everything have been said already about their latest album, third, but being such a monument it has been in my Ipod since their Copenhagen concert which was probably one of the most mind blowing that I've done. I just wish they did a 15 min version of "The Rip", moving from a close to folk voice only into a real electronica.

N.E.R.D, i already knew some of their previous albums (Fly or die and In search of), but this seeing sound still surprised me. They are still consistent with what they used to be, but at the same time very modern. If you can listen to only one track, pick the single "Eveyone nose", and if you can have a second one pick "Sooner or later" that shows the diversity they achieved.
